Coined and developed by Mandragora (a.k.a. holasoyneto), Futureprog keeps progressive psytrance's forward motion but swaps its harder edges for warmth: rolling basslines, patient builds, melodies that land like daybreak. It is the sound of the sunrise — built for festival main stages at golden hour and marathon sets that carry a floor all the way to daylight.
The style was forged on Brazil's psytrance circuit, where Mandragora — Mexican-born, now based in Toulouse, France — spent years playing to some of the most demanding progressive crowds in the world. Futureprog is what survived the contact: the discipline of progressive, the joy of Latin groove, the scale of festival trance.
