Futureprog is Mandragora's take on progressive psytrance: melodic, groove-first, built for the last hours of the night.
Coined by Mandragora (a.k.a. holasoyneto), Futureprog keeps progressive psytrance's drive and drops the harsh edges: rolling basslines, long builds, melodies you can hum. It's the sound of the sunrise — the set that's still going when the sun comes up.
The style comes from years on Brazil's psytrance circuit — Mandragora is Mexican-born, now based in Toulouse, France, but Brazil is where the sound took shape: progressive structure with Latin groove, sized for festivals.
